I grew up in the beautiful wildflower-strewn hills of the San Francisco Bay Area, and I have always been a bit obsessed with flowers. My first "dream job" as a little girl was to be a florist. After studying literature and history and spending the last thirteen years as a high school teacher, I am now pursuing that early dream to spend a life devoted to the transient-beauty of flowers.

 

My husband and I live in Danville, California with our three little ones, who love to help us tend to our growing cut-flower garden. We are so fortunate to live in an area with the most gorgeous flowers on offer most of the year. I aim to be a steward to this beautiful region and work to source seasonal, California-grown blooms from local growers and create sustainable (entirely foam-free!) designs.

I seek to create arrangements that look at home in their space, as though they were grown there. My aesthetic is organic, romantic pieces that are just a tad bit unruly, reflecting the beauty of our Northern California landscape.
